Purpose: Amplify authentic farmer voices to influence agricultural policy on climate resilience and economic security.

Impact: By centering American farmers as trusted messengers, this film created common ground between agricultural communities and environmental advocates, helping build support for sustainable farming provisions in the Farm Bill that address both economic stability and climate impacts.

Current Revolution: A Film Series for the Energy Transition (2018–2020)

Purpose: Demonstrate the technological readiness and economic benefits of grid modernization to drive necessary public policy and investments.

Impact: This three-part series—comprising two feature films and one short—helped strengthen grid resilience efforts by showing how modernization can meet growing electricity demands while supporting the clean energy transition. Special focus on workforce development helped audiences understand pathways to economic prosperity through grid transformation.

Tidewater(2017)

Purpose: DCreate a model for regional collaboration on climate adaptation by highlighting national security implications of sea level rise.

Impact: Convened bipartisan members of the Armed Services Committees to authorize the National Defense Authorization Act. In Hampton Roads, Virginia—home to the nation's highest concentration of military assets—the film catalyzed unprecedented collaboration between previously siloed jurisdictions facing common flooding challenges.

The Burden(2015)

Purpose: Reframe fossil fuel dependence as a national security issue to build broader support for clean energy initiatives.

Impact: Successfully influenced legislation and policy at local, state, and federal levels by identifying military leaders as trusted messengers on energy transition. Screened globally as part of NATO training exercises, opening new dialogue channels between security and environmental stakeholders.

Roger collaborated with the major travel hub’s sustainability and communications teams to effectively share their environmental initiatives. Beyond creating compelling content, Roger helped the teams develop stronger internal alignment and more effective external messaging strategies around sustainability and how they communicate their successes.

The Natural Resources Defense Council

Roger designed and produced a comprehensive social media campaign for NRDC, building a content library of 20 strategically crafted video pieces. This campaign helped NRDC defend the progress of the energy transition by engaging stakeholders and the public.
